Change, Change, Change!!
There has been lots of change the past few days which is hard, but also so good! I can't believe I am at the end of my first transfer. The time has come for me to get a new companion and I am so lucky to spend the next little bit with Sister Cochran. She is from Orem and has 4 girls in her family (ok same), loves to be artsy (ok same), and loves softball (ok almost same hahaha)! We have a brand new ward which should be exciting! We are also living in a new house which is also very fun!
One of the best parts about being a Visitor Center Sister is that we live with our districts, so there are 8 of us living together. 3 of the Sisters are brand new to the mission and I’ve loved getting to know them! There are 18 new Sisters here so that is excited!! Also… for the first time in years there are Elders in the Laie zone!! It's so weird seeing them around because there are normally just Sisters. Like I said, lots of change BUT something that did stay the same is my LOVE for being here.
Being on a mission definitely is not easy and I miss everyone from home so much, but being away forces you to rely on the Lord. There are times when it seems almost impossible to keep going, but He is always here and is always ready to listen to you. I know that through Him there will always be a way and I know that through faith everything will work out.
"Faith in Jesus Christ is the greatest power available to us in this life. All things are possible to those that believe."
With much love, Sister Crowley
