Not much to say this week besides I love Laie & I love being able to represent my Savior everyday  It feels so good to be back at the visitor center as a part time tour guide, part time photographer, and full time missionary! As I have been back from Maui I have been able to compare the differences from both types of missions which has been awesome. I always knew visitor center missionaries were "real missionaries" but it's taken this comparison to see how much we really do and how REAL our calling is to serve the Lord. There is no other work I would be doing in any other place!  Today at zone conference I gave a talk on "trusting in the Lord" seems like a pretty easy topic but the more I studied the more I realized how hard it is to fully and completely trust in Him. If it's true that God is all loving, all knowing, and all powerful and He wants what's best for us, then why is to so hard to just give our all to Him at times? Of many answers what stu...

GOD IS SO GOOD

The title of this email is all I have to say. No words can describe how happy I am to be back in Laie at the temple. ️ I'll be very honest I was nervous to come back to the visitor center after being gone for a little bit but it has been so good. I love my companion so much. She is from Canada but grew up in the Philippines. we went on an exchange together my second transfer here and the whole time talked about how we would love to be companions!  We live right down the road from the temple so we get to ride bikes, it's so much fun! Heavenly Father really listened to my prayers when I told him that the all the rice is not doing me well.  I'm back in another married student ward  sacrament meeting consists of 50% pda and 50% children running around screaming the whole time. I wouldn't have it any other way, still trying to figure out what I need to learn that I didn't learn the first 1/4 of my mission being in a married student ward.  Some girls we...

Worst Goodbye Ever

If this was a handwritten letter, the paper would have tears dried all over it. I am so sad to be leaving Maui and the people I have grown to love so much here.  The past 18 weeks we have tried and tried to get our friends Shannon and Mary to come to church. They finally came yesterday for my last Sunday. It was one of the biggest tender mercies!  The past 5 months have been some of the best. The people here know how to love with their whole hearts. I was called to serve them but they served me more than I ever could have served them. Here's 1 million photos of the people I love the most!  All my aloha, Sister  Crowley

Sister Training Leader

Aloha Brother and Sister Crowley,     We are pleased to inform you that your daughter, Sister Crowley, has been called to serve as a sister training leader. In parallel, they will also provide leadership over a zone of sisters, established for the purposes of both mission organization and hastening the work of salvation.     This highly entrusted position is vital to the success of the missionary efforts in the Hawaii Laie Mission, as we rely on this position for both personal revelation and sound judgement in discussing matters of mission vision, culture, and goals. We also rely on this same judgement when considering transfers, exchanges, proselyting areas, ward/branch assignments, and district leadership.     We appreciate your ongoing support for this outstanding sister missionary. She represents you well and all those at home and across the world praying for her success.     We pray that you and your family will continue to be blessed because...
