Thanksgiving In Hawaii: Round 2.
Aloha & Happy Thanksgiving to you all! I hope everyone had the best Thanksgiving surrounded by the ones you love most! After a traumatic experience last year (not actually traumatic) I am happy to announce Thanksgiving in Hawaii is the best! Because today is my p-day, I got to talk to family & eat with a family named the Hoagland's! They are originally from Kaysville but moved to Laie last year. They were the sweetest for having us over.
Because it's Thanksgiving it's only right if this email is full of what I am grateful for...
I'm thankful to be surrounded by sister missionaries who never cease to put a smile on my face.
I'm thankful for my family who is so supportive of me & is always my biggest cheerleader!
I'm thankful for 'Seven Brothers'... their crazy fries know what's up!
I'm thankful for technology which helps me keep in touch with the ones I love most (all of you reading this, email me!!!)
I'm thankful for the Book of Mormon which is basically an answer key to this game called life we're playing!
I'm thankful for a Mission President & wife as well as the Visitor Center Director & his wife! If you know them you love them!
I'm thankful for my friends who are such great examples to me!
I'm thankful for all of the married students who I get to serve and share messages with (even when we know they don't want us there and would much rather be surfing!)
And most of all I'm thankful for be a Missionary in Hawaii, serving & talking to new people everyday seriously brings me so much happiness! It's not always easy, but it's so worth it!
Give your family a big hug today for me!
