Mele Kalikimaka!!

It's the Hawaiian way to say Merry Christmas to you!

I hope everyone has had the best Christmas! This past week has been full of so many Christmas activities which has been the best. We were able to spend all of Christmas Eve in Honolulu with the rest of the Oahu Missionaries for Zone Conference. The first half of the day was full of training and all that good stuff and then the rest was a Christmas party. We made gingerbread houses and had a big white elephant gift exchange. It was such a blessing Zone Conference happened to be on Christmas Eve.  We drove home and all of the sisters in our zone ate enchiladas and watched The Polar Express together.

Coolest experience at the Visitor Center this week! There have been so many tourists from all over here this week. One morning we were showing a family a video and as we were walking out of the theatre I saw a couple out of the corner of my eye (not even dramatic) who was walking around outside of the Visitors Center. I ran outside to invite them inside and they turned around and to my surprise they spoke zero English. None at all. They were from Paris and only spoke French, I have never wished I knew a second language more in my life. I (the Spirit) somehow convinced them to come inside. We were able to stall them for 15 minutes until the only sister who knows French could come over and talk with them. I have never seen two people more ready to receive The Gospel!

I'm so thankful to be a Missionary in the special Islands of Hawaii. The people here are the most loving and giving people I have ever met. One family decided to feed all of the missionaries in Laie dinner tonight and it was true act of Christlike love! You can tell they love the Missionaries and they love Jesus Christ! They dedicate themselves to serving others, just as Christ did

Much Love, Sister Crowley
