6 Drunks + 2 Missionaries!!

Alohaaaa this was the quickest week ever! Interviews one full day & zone conference another. We had our zone conference at the Pulehu chapel, the sacred spot ever! It was the first chapel ever built in the Hawaiian island and was the place where Jesus Christ walked with George Q. Cannon... do some research it will be worth your time!! 

 

 

My favorite part of zone conference was when our mission president shared a bunch of stories from his mission and the lessons he learned. It made me realize there is so much to be learned from every situation! 

 

 

Every Sunday night we meet with Danè, a less active lady who's 47 but thinks she 22... we love her! We show up to her house because it's her birthday and she lets us know she has friends over. We're like that's okay we will just meet them. Safe to say most of them were 1/2 drunk wondering what the heck the missionaries are doing there. We made our visit VERY quick but shared 3 Nephi 9:14 with them (my fav). The spirit was so strong even in the WiErDeSt of situations!! Honestly one of the funniest moments on my mission. 

 

 

Some other honorable moments: 

 

 

- YSA Valentines Day party

 

 

- exchanges in upcountry Maui 

 

 

-getting Bible bashed by some Christian missionaries (they "challenged" us to find the flaws in the Book of Mormon... thought that was a great idea, KIDDING) 

 

 

- Institute started again and we get to go every other week!!!
