Someone Teach Me Portuguese

Aloha everyone! Here's this week's highlights:

- We were out knocking doors one day this week when we knocked on the sweetest lady door. She immediately invited us in but it didn't take time to realize that she spoke basically no english. as i looked around her house she had brazil flags everywhere! we tried communicating through google translate but it was not the move. I tried calling my cousin, Elder Frost who is serving in Brazil right now and to my surprise he answered and was able to teach the whole restoration to her as we showed her pictures. She told him that she never lets people in but she noticed that there was something different about us! A  Portuguese speaking member set up a time for them to go to dinner so pray for sweet branca! also sorry i didn't call u sister orison i thought about it but #familyfirst

- We made bread one day with our members and it was so fun! It was a much needed relaxing day

- General conference! obviously amazing! How cool is it that we have a living prophet who is able to speak to us and share exactly what the lord would have us hear?  my favorite quote was "if you want to know anything, you will have to do something" so simple, but SO TRUE!

- Paia fish market 12/10 recommend if you are on Maui

- Got to see my cutest cousin & aunt & grandma today...i'm so grateful to have such an amazing family... Heavenly Father knew I couldn't go 18 months without seeing someone!

With much love, Sister Crowley
