Not much to say this week besides I love Laie & I love being able to represent my Savior everyday

It feels so good to be back at the visitor center as a part time tour guide, part time photographer, and full time missionary! As I have been back from Maui I have been able to compare the differences from both types of missions which has been awesome. I always knew visitor center missionaries were "real missionaries" but it's taken this comparison to see how much we really do and how REAL our calling is to serve the Lord. There is no other work I would be doing in any other place!

Today at zone conference I gave a talk on "trusting in the Lord" seems like a pretty easy topic but the more I studied the more I realized how hard it is to fully and completely trust in Him. If it's true that God is all loving, all knowing, and all powerful and He wants what's best for us, then why is to so hard to just give our all to Him at times? Of many answers what stuck out to me the most is that it's because we are afraid of the unknown. We're afraid of uncharted territory, unplanned roads, and scared to loose control of our own will.

It's time to embrace the unknown and realize that it is just God intervening with our lives. "Trust him with your life, after all he is the one that gave it to you"
