Boar Vs Beaver

Aloha!

 

 

Who remembers when my sister got attacked by a beaver? Well, I think she has been outdone. This week we were meeting with one of our members when I noticed a big scar on her leg. I asked what happened and she said she was hiking 3 peaks when a BOAR came out of the bushes and started charging after her and her friend. She said her friend jumped onto a tree but she was too slow and the boar got her. I cannot make this up. Apparently, there are lots of wild boars in the mountains here in Hawaii.  I was dying and told her about my sister getting attacked by a beaver. We agreed we would love to see a boar vs beaver fight. I obviously asked if I could take a picture to show my sister.

 

 

This week in the visitors' center we gave a tour to a little girl who was being baptized the next day.  When I say this is the smartest girl I have ever met I mean it. She told us the whole restoration, then told us why there are 12 oxen under the baptismal font, and then continued to share the ENTIRE come follow me lesson from this week with us.

 

 

My companion and I were able to go inside the temple and do baptisms this week for the first time in Hawaii! Turns out that not all baptistries have a shower for when you are done... I was shocked.
